Before
So far, I've struggled a little bit through the first 9 weeks. The best way for me to learn vocab words is through the game weply in class called Lo Tengo. My strengths in this class are telling the difference between femanine and masculine endings. My weakness is words that dont sound anything like their english form. By the time the 2nd quarter ends, I hope to know the basics of Spanish, atleast enough to get me through Spanish 2.

Finally, I feel so much more comfortable with Spanish 1. The first half of it was easy, then the more words we had to remember, the more I forgot. The best way for me to learn Spanish are flash cards, trying to connect the Spanish word to an English word or action, and doing matching worksheets. At least half of the vocab words we've went over will stick with me, but I can't promise anything about the other half. I'm still having trouble with all of the conjugations of the ir, er, and ar verbs. I'll have to fix that on my own time though. My goals for Spanish II is first, try to warm up to Mrs. Braswell like I did with Mrs. Sebestik. After that, I'll be secure enough to concentrate and start learning all I can.
